He was never able to see properly, and from birth he had grave vision obstacles. Even as a kid, he was not able to see properly.
But his parents had early doubts, and after a visit to the optometrist, they were able to confirm their doubts. Christian needed glasses.
The only issue is that the glasses are not formed for kids like Christian, although they can frequently have the same vision issues as adults. Furthermore, their eyes are not yet totally formed, so their glasses must be adjusted frequently. But, in turn, kids have the chance to overcome the problems related to sight and have almost or fully proper vision as they age.
But until then, they are able to depend on glasses just like everyone else having this problem.
That is the reason that small kids cannot wear regular glasses. They are too massive and fall off. In the worst case, they may be crushed and the baby may be damaged.
Therefore, Christian’s parents specially made glasses from soft plastic. The glasses are made so that they don’t fall off when Christian vibrates on the floor.
The question is, how will Christian respond?
Initially, he was not enthusiastic about glasses and firmly resisted. Until he put them on and understood that he could unexpectedly see his environment in a totally different way than previously. He could see!
There were so many things Christian could never sense because of a poor eyesight. With glasses, he began an absolutely different life, and his parents were able to show him something that he had never witnessed. This is crucial for the proper growth of kids.
Christian is currently like most kids and doesn’t opposed to wearing glasses. He now sees surrounding, and concluding by his smile, he likes what he sees.
