Bob’s fingers seem pretty dexterous on the guitar strings.
Some of the best unprepared musical performances I’ve witnessed in recent times have been at a guitar store or even Walmart when the performers pick up a guitar and start playing. In this clip, 81-year-old Bob Wood walks into a British Audio Service guitar store located in Nashville and picks up one of the guitars from the shelf to try. And what a turn!
The clip was recorded the previous year and has now gained popularity. As it turns out, Bob is not new to music. He performed frequently at Jamboree USA in Wheeling, West Virginia as well as made a number of recordings throughout his career. In 2007, he was inducted into the Southern Legends Country Music Hall of Fame.
