Do you remember Jimmy from Disco Dancer? The Indian actor is already 70
This legendary picture first hit our screens in 1982 making Disco Dancing a true classic of the Indian cinema which still has an army of millions of fans all over the world.
The plot of «Disco Dancer» lies on the story of Jimmy who, being born to an extremely poor family and having no money, had to perform in the streets with his uncle in order to earn some money. Later, his mother and he had to flee to a foreign place and, in the course of time, Jimmy became a handsome young man, a true conqueror of female hearts. He then met a girl with whom he fell madly in love.
It should be noted that legendary Indian actor M. Chakraborty’s path to success was not easy at all, whereas his sound sense of rhythm, great talent and charisma didn’t let anyone remain indifferent.
However surprising it may seem, the legend of Disco Dancing is already 70 continuing being widely popular and demanded in his hometown. He is currently married to his colleague Yogita Bali with whom he has four children. It should be noted that once his wife learnt about the man’s affair on the set of a film was ready to end her life. Whereas, fortunately, everything worked out and she forgave her husband.
