The 71-year-old singer lights up “The Voice” stage with “Stand by Me”

His performance is one of the best and unforgettable.

The senior member of The Voice Jimmy Belmartin captured the show with his powerful rendition of the R&B classic “Stand by Me” at the final.

After winning the season, Belmartin may release an EP as well as perform live at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. He has been the absolute favorite since the beginning of that year.

All the instructors turned at once as soon as he sang “This is a Man’s World” by James Brown from the premier notes of his audition.

He was one when he came to Holland. He appeared at Vught as a child. Belmartin has been singing his entire life. Not only at parties, but on the background vocals of such well-known performers as Percy Sledge, Lou Rawls, Eric Bourdon, and The Trumps as well.

He traveled the world for many years, sharing his talent with millions of people. More than two million people tuned in to meet the soul singer win the RTL talent show final with his performance of “Loving Someone”. His instructors were Gordon and Gerard Joling.

In 1970, Belmartin released his premier single named “This is My Love Song”. He appeared as the lead vocalist of the funk band “The Soul Snatchers” in 2007. Belmartin’s performance “Stand by Me” is one of the best and unforgettable on “The Voice” due to his trademark penetrating voice.
