Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis’ “Old Barn” Home

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, the celebrated duo famed for their roles in “That ’70s Show,” have fashioned a distinctive sanctuary in the heart of Los Angeles that mirrors an old barn. Despite their affluence, the couple opted to design their home as a barn, reflecting their preference for simplicity and comfort.

The couple, who exchanged vows in 2015, devoted five years to establishing their Los Angeles residence, constructed atop a six-acre property. With the assistance of architect Howard Backen and interior designer Vicky Charles, the couple built their dream home from scratch.

Since settling into their barn-styled abode, the high-profile couple has divulged numerous details about the structure. Kunis once shared that she and her husband desired a home, not an estate, expressing, “We wanted the house to look like an old barn, something that had been here for decades, that was then converted into a house. But it also had to feel modern and relevant.”

Before the commencement of the Los Angeles project, Kunis and Kutcher had individual Pinterest boards to help outline what they envisioned for their home. Ultimately, their tastes aligned almost perfectly. They engaged architect Backen to construct their ideal farmhouse after discovering he had designed most of the homes they admired.

However, they didn’t build a home merely to indulge their interest. They aimed to create something suitable for their children. Kunis was expecting the couple’s first child when construction began, and despite the luxurious accents, the home was designed to be entirely family-friendly.

For Kunis and Kutcher, their home serves as a sanctuary of tranquility where the couple resides with their two children, cherishing every moment of life to its fullest.
