Singer Dion at 54 is becoming “a living statue” due to her incurable disease
It has recently become known that the legendary and absolute winner of the Grammy Awards C. Dion has been diagnosed with muscle stiffness syndrome which means her muscles are uncontrollably tense. It is relevant to mention that the incurable disease makes people who suffer from it “living statues” and they gradually become unable to walk or even utter a word.
According to the iconic singer, there is, misfortunately, no cure for this syndrome, whereas she is given a treatment which makes the unsustainable development of the disease relatively slower. It is sad to mention but the celebrity had to cancel her tour to Europa because of her condition.
Lately, the legendary star shared what was actually happening to her with her followers. The singer explained that she was diagnosed with a serious disorder which currently affects, believe it or not, only one in a millions people in the world. She talked about the unbearable spasms because of which she is now unable to perform.
The prominent singer regretfully mentioned that the symptoms have a direct impact on her daily life. Sometimes, she is unable to use her vocal cords in order to sing, and sometimes, she has difficulties with walking independently.
Celine also mentioned that she is now under control of excellent and well-qualified doctors admitting that owing to them and her loved one she can somehow control her condition.
The popular performer admitted she misses her fans so much and is looking forward to delight them on stage which is now totally impossible. Celine mentioned that she is currently doing everything possible to be able to sing and live a normal life again.
