It has been a long yet beautiful journey for “The Man Who Would Be King” actor Michael Caine and his lovely wife, Shakira Caine. In 2022, the pair celebrated 49 years together.
Even after so long, not much has changed, and they still keep their love life alive by going out on dates. The lovebirds were recently spotted enjoying a night out at Harry’s bar.
Despite their advanced ages — Caine is 89 while Shakira is 75 — they did not compromise on style. Caine looked dapper in a navy blue blazer paired with black trousers and a blue shirt, while Shakira complimented her husband’s look with a red lace blouse, a black silk blazer, and matching trousers.
The two were spotted leaving the bar with the support staff helping Caine, who walks with the help of a walking frame, to the car.

Caine, who is majorly recognized for his roles in “King of Thieves,” “Dry Rotten Scoundrels,” and “Dressed To Kill,” has had a long, fulfilling life. That said, a prolific career and a successful marriage are only part of his overall success.
However, recently he has been battling health issues. In early March 2022, the actor’s wife confirmed that the actor had undergone a major back operation at a London Hospital. The procedure was to treat spinal stenosis, which causes unbearable back and leg pain.
Over the years, the actor has increasingly worried about his health, noting that his days were numbered. However, with his wife’s support, he has overcome the most harrowing of experiences.
He credits her for helping him swap sugar and salt for healthier alternatives, hoping that better and healthier choices will help him live long enough to see his grandchildren grow up. He said:
“Without her, I’d have been dead long ago.”
