Discovered her husband’s infidelity

As she prepared for major brain surgery, she made a terrifying discovery. The day before the operation, she found out that her husband Kurt Iswarienko had been having an affair for two years.
The affair led to Shannen Doherty filing for divorce in 2023 from her husband to whom she had been married for eleven years and together for fourteen years.
Since then, she has been fighting to get the divorce through, and shortly before her death, court documents seen by People magazine revealed that the actress believed her husband was delaying the divorce in the hope that she would die first.
“It is simply not right that Kurt is allowed to prolong our divorce in the hope that I will die before he is obligated to pay me while he continues to live his life and avoid his responsibility to his dying wife for more than eleven years,” it says the court document, according to People .
Fulfilled her last will and testament
But the day before she died, their divorce was finalized. This is according to Page Six , which has seen the court documents.
According to the media channel, it appears from the documents that Shannen Doherty finally agreed that she would not receive maintenance for her husband. In addition, the marriage would be dissolved “uncontested”.
While Shannen Doherty herself signed the papers on July 12, the day before she took her last breath, her husband signed the papers the following day, the day she died.
